Starting from Delhi or Chandigarh, this 10-day expedition takes you through a complete circuit of the Himalayan frontier, from the pine-clad valleys of Shimla and Kinnaur to the stark, lunar landscapes of Spiti and onward to Manali.

    Traverse thrilling mountain passes, ride alongside turquoise rivers, and stop at ancient monasteries that have stood silent for centuries. From the charming apple valleys of Sangla and Kalpa to the otherworldly desert of Kaza and the shimmering blue of Chandratal, every mile is a journey through nature’s extremes. Designed for passionate riders and adventure seekers, this Spiti bike tour is more than a ride — it’s a spiritual and physical challenge through the wild, untamed heart of the Himalayas.

    TOUR ITINERARY

    A Journey Designed for Unforgettable Memories

    Day 1: Shimla: Arrival & Briefing
    Arrive at Delhi or Chandigarh and transfer to Shimla by road. Meet your tour captain and fellow riders for a short briefing and bike orientation. Spend the evening exploring Mall Road and preparing for the adventure ahead. Overnight stay in Shimla.
    Gear up and start your Himalayan ride through Kufri, Narkanda, and Rampur. Enjoy sweeping views of mountains, apple orchards, and rivers as you descend into the Kinnaur Valley. Reach Sangla by evening and relax at your riverside stay. Overnight in Sangla.
    After breakfast, take a scenic ride to Chitkul, India’s last inhabited village on the Indo-Tibetan border. The route winds through pine forests and past the Baspa River, offering perfect photo stops. Return to Sangla for overnight stay.
    Today’s ride takes you higher into the Himalayas. Cross Karcham and Pooh, then visit Nako Lake — a peaceful village with a mirror-like lake. Continue to Giu Village to see the 500-year-old preserved mummy of a monk before reaching Tabo, home to one of the oldest Buddhist monasteries in the world. Overnight stay in Tabo.
    After breakfast, begin your ride toward Kaza. En route, visit the stunning Dhankar Monastery, dramatically perched above the confluence of the Spiti and Pin Rivers. Continue to Kaza, the headquarters of Spiti Valley. Evening free to explore the town’s cafés and market. Overnight stay in Kaza.
    Ride out to Key Monastery, the spiritual heart of Spiti. Cross Chicham Bridge, one of Asia’s highest suspension bridges, and visit Kibber Village, famous for its traditional stone houses and wildlife sightings. End the day at Langza, known for its iconic Buddha statue and ancient marine fossils. Overnight in Kaza.
    Today’s ride takes you to the world’s highest villages — Komic and Hikkim, where you can mail a postcard from the highest post office on earth. Return to Kaza and spend the evening relaxing or shopping in the local market. Overnight stay in Kaza.
    Gear up for a thrilling ride through rugged terrain and over Kunzum Pass. Visit the mesmerizing Chandratal Lake (subject to road conditions), known for its crystal-clear reflections and lunar-like landscape. Camp overnight near the lake (seasonal) or in Losar Village if the lake route is closed.
    After breakfast, begin your descent toward Manali. Ride through Batal, cross water streams, and pass through the Atal Tunnel, marveling at the changing scenery from barren peaks to lush forests. Arrive in Manali by evening and celebrate the completion of your circuit. Overnight stay in Manali.
    After breakfast, bid farewell to the mountains and your riding companions. Begin your journey back to Delhi or Chandigarh, carrying the thrill of mountain roads and memories of one of the greatest rides of your life.
