Day 1: Arrival at Trichy – Transfer to Kumbakonam
Arrive at Trichy Airport / Railway Station, meet your representative, and transfer to Kumbakonam, a city steeped in spiritual and architectural heritage. Visit Adi Kumbeswarar Temple and the famous Navagraha Temples nearby, known for their planetary significance. Overnight stay in Kumbakonam.
Day 2: Kumbakonam – Thanjavur
After breakfast, drive to Thanjavur (Tanjore), the cultural capital of Tamil Nadu. Visit the UNESCO-listed Brihadeeswarar Temple, a masterpiece of Chola architecture, and explore the Thanjavur Palace and Art Gallery. In the evening, stroll through local markets known for Tanjore paintings and handicrafts. Overnight stay in Thanjavur.
Day 3: Thanjavur – Rameswaram
After breakfast, drive to Rameswaram, one of India’s holiest pilgrimage towns and part of the Char Dham Yatra. Visit the sacred Ramanathaswamy Temple, known for its long corridors and sculpted pillars. Later, visit Agni Theertham, Panchmukhi Hanuman Temple, and Dhanushkodi Beach. Overnight stay in Rameswaram.
Day 4: Rameswaram – Kanyakumari
After breakfast, drive to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of India where three seas meet. Visit the Kanyakumari Temple, Vivekananda Rock Memorial, and Thiruvalluvar Statue. Witness the spectacular sunset over the ocean. Overnight stay in Kanyakumari.
Day 5: Kanyakumari – Madurai
After breakfast, drive to Madurai, one of India’s oldest living cities. Visit the iconic Meenakshi Amman Temple, a masterpiece of Dravidian art and devotion. Explore Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal and witness the vibrant evening aarti at the temple. Overnight stay in Madurai.
Day 6: Madurai – Kodaikanal
After breakfast, drive to the serene hill station of Kodaikanal, known as the “Princess of Hill Stations.” Visit Coaker’s Walk, Bryant Park, and enjoy a boat ride on Kodaikanal Lake. Evening free to relax and enjoy the pleasant weather. Overnight stay in Kodaikanal.
Day 7: Kodaikanal – Ooty
After breakfast, drive through scenic landscapes to Ooty, the “Queen of Hill Stations.” Check in to your resort and relax. Spend the evening at Ooty Lake or take a leisurely walk through Botanical Gardens. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 8: Ooty – Coonoor Excursion
After breakfast, enjoy a day trip to Coonoor. Visit Sim’s Park, Lamb’s Rock, and Dolphin’s Nose Viewpoint for panoramic views of the Nilgiri Hills. Optionally, enjoy a toy train ride between Ooty and Coonoor (subject to availability). Return to Ooty for an evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Ooty.
Day 9: Ooty – Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Coimbatore / Madurai Airport or Railway Station for your onward journey — carrying with you the divine blessings, cultural richness, and natural beauty of Tamil Nadu’s most enchanting destinations.
