A Journey Designed for Unforgettable Memories
Day 1: Leh: Arrival & Sightseeing
Arrive at Leh Airport, meet your driver, and transfer to your hotel. Spend the day acclimatizing to Ladakh’s altitude. In the evening, visit Shanti Stupa and Leh Market to enjoy a relaxed start to your Himalayan journey. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 2: Leh: Monasteries & Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, explore the region’s spiritual heritage. Visit Thiksey Monastery, Shey Palace, and the grand Hemis Monastery, one of the largest in Ladakh. Return to Leh and spend your evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 3: Leh – Nubra Valley (via Khardung La Pass)
After an early breakfast, drive across Khardung La Pass (18,380 ft) — the world’s highest motorable road — to reach the stunning Nubra Valley. Visit Diskit Monastery and see the 32-meter Maitreya Buddha statue. Later, enjoy a camel ride over the cold desert dunes of Hunder. Overnight stay in Nubra Valley.
Day 4: Nubra Valley – Pangong Lake (via Shyok Route)
After breakfast, drive through the scenic Shyok Route toward Pangong Lake, Ladakh’s most breathtaking natural wonder. On arrival, marvel at the lake’s ever-changing hues of blue under the vast sky. Spend your evening by the lakeside under a canopy of stars. Overnight stay near Pangong Lake.
Day 5: Pangong Lake – Leh (via Chang La Pass)
Wake up early to witness the sunrise over Pangong Lake, one of the most magical sights in Ladakh. After breakfast, drive back to Leh via Chang La Pass (17,688 ft), stopping at Rancho School (3 Idiots Point) and Thiksey Monastery en route. Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 6: Leh – Kargil (via Magnetic Hill & Lamayuru)
After breakfast, begin your journey toward Kargil. En route, visit Magnetic Hill, the Confluence of the Indus and Zanskar Rivers (Sangam Point), and Lamayuru Monastery, one of Ladakh’s oldest. Arrive in Kargil by evening and check in to your hotel. Overnight stay in Kargil.
Day 7: Kargil – Sonamarg
After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg, known as the “Meadow of Gold.” En route, visit Drass War Memorial, dedicated to the heroes of the Kargil War, and enjoy panoramic views of the Tiger Hill range. Arrive in Sonamarg by evening and relax amidst snow-capped peaks. Overnight stay in Sonamarg.
Day 8: Sonamarg – Srinagar
After breakfast, drive to Srinagar, the heart of Kashmir Valley. On arrival, check in to your houseboat or hotel. Spend the evening enjoying a romantic Shikara ride on Dal Lake and witness the floating gardens and Mughal architecture around you. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 9: Srinagar – Gulmarg Excursion
After breakfast, take a day trip to Gulmarg, the famous meadow known for its meadows and snow adventures. Enjoy a Gondola ride to the upper slopes (optional) for breathtaking views of the Himalayas. Return to Srinagar by evening. Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 10: Srinagar: Departure
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight, carrying unforgettable memories of mountain passes, pristine lakes, and the poetic beauty of Kashmir.
